The Staunton-Augusta African American Research Society recently installed historical markers in several locations throughout the city reflecting Staunton’s African-American heritage. Frazier Associates worked with the Society on the design and fabrication of the interpretive signs over the past two years. The signs commemorate significant sites and individuals, as well as educational, business, and cultural connections that contributed greatly to the fabric of the community.
