Collierville, Tn
Collierville is a historic small town that is located on the eastern outskirts of Memphis and, as such, was experiencing rapid growth and development. The commercial core of the community is located around a picturesque town square that is surrounded by a historic neighborhood. With much new development occurring, the Town was committed to connecting these older areas of the community with the new expansion.
In addition to writing design guidelines for Collierville’s historic district, Frazier Associates developed a guidelines manual to identify and illustrate design priorities for all new development in the community with the exception of single-family homes. Quantifiable detailed design standards were created where possible in these guidelines. The recommendations were also formatted for inclusion on the town’s website.
