Staunton, Va
As a part of its effort to fund public education and beautification projects, the Augusta Garden Club, a chapter of the Garden Club of Virginia, initiated a series of signs to educate the public about the Lewis Creek Watershed, a local water resource that flows through the city of Staunton, Virginia.
Frazier Associates was contracted to work with a project committee of the club to design the signs. The first one was installed in the City’s Gypsy Hill Park through which a very visible branch of Lewis Creek runs. Additional, smaller signs were designed, fabricated and installed throughout Staunton at key creek locations to complete the system and education project.
